Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our production equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions and technical issues on machines and systems
  • Install and commission new machines and equipment
  • Support the optimization of machinery, production systems, and work processes
  • Identify defects and contribute improvement suggestions
  • Assist with process and product trials
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities carried out
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment and authorize the release of machines after maintenance and repair work

Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Good command of German as well as Italian or English
  • Independent, careful, and team-oriented working style


Compensation

  • Starting salary from €35,000 per year on a full-time basis (37.5 hours), classified according to the Metal Industry collective agreement
  • Shift work is compensated with an additional allowance
  • Depending on your education/qualifications and experience, your compensation may be higher
